Spring Recital 2020

CANCELLED May 28th DUE TO COVID-19

Our recitals are perfect for your child to showcase the results of their practice. We design them to reduce “stage fright” while helping performers build self esteem. We even hold “mini-recitals” a few days before the main event. This helps those who are under or over confident. They see that it’s not so bad or – perhaps more than they had expected! We also stress the importance of good etiquette for the young performers. At the mini-recitals, teachers stress their roles as polite and considerate audience members. Recitals expose students to new musical styles and instruments. They help students stay motivated, encouraged, and interested as they observe the progress of their peers. Unfortunately, we are not able to conduct our recitals during the pandemic.

We hold our recitals at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Skokie, located on the corner of Niles Center and Galitz St, in Skokie, IL
